The Little Market is a non-profit that practices fair trade principles & is a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation.
Because The Little Market is a nonprofit, the revenue from your orders also support the organization’s work to purchase more product, identify new artisan groups, & expand their reach.
The Little Market currently carries products from more than 70 artisan groups in over 25 countries & sovereign states.
Ethically source from underserved groups including individuals living with HIV/AIDS, people with disabilities, indigenous populations, individuals living in poverty survivors of trafficking & domestic violence, refugees, young mothers, single mothers, & widows, and women transitioning out of homelessness.
Since 2013, socially-conscious consumers ethically purchased 190,418 units & generated 864,929 hours of dignified work for underserved communities.
In 2019, The Little Market launched a new partnership with nonprofit organization Homeboy Industries. Based out of Downtown Los Angeles, Homeboy Industries is the largest gang intervention, rehabilitation, and reentry program in the world.
The Little Market’s Council is a community of more than 60 women, including experts, entrepreneurs, and advocates. Each member lends their time and talents and is dedicated to supporting The Little Market and amplifying the message of our mission-driven nonprofit.
